The Ministry of Internal Affairs' campaign "For Safety – Together!" as part of the "Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk" festival concluded spectacularly, brightly, and with gifts.
The campaign was attended by Dmitry Korzyuk, Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Belarus. He familiarised himself with the numerous locations of police units set up on Pobedy Square.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs' campaign "For Safety – Together!" took place in a wonderful festival atmosphere. During these days, Vitebsk turned into a true cultural capital, attracting a huge number of guests from Belarus and abroad. It was important to create a comfortable and safe atmosphere for them, and I believe we succeeded. Thanks, in part, to the efforts of the police, people felt genuine Belarusian hospitality. The Ministry of Internal Affairs' campaign was harmoniously integrated into the fabric of the "Slavianski Bazaar." Not only children but also adults, having visited all our locations and interactive platforms, became convinced: we work openly and have provided people with information about practically all units – internal and special troops, traffic police, riot police, criminal police, the Department of Security, – noted Dmitry Korzyuk.
The Deputy Minister thanked the festival organisers and assured that future events organised by the Ministry of Internal Affairs would be equally spectacular and informative.
Over four days, more than 10,000 people visited the police's themed areas and received flyers. On the final day, they participated in a mountain bike raffle. The lucky winner of the super prize was Olga Brueva from Vitebsk, who, along with her 12-year-old son Artyom, completed the entire interactive route. The main prize was presented to the winners by Dmitry Korzyuk. Also participating in the award ceremony were Gleb Lapitsky, Director of the "Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk" International Arts Forum, Belarusian singer Gunesh, and Russian performer Artur Rudenko.
