8 February, Minsk /Lilia Krapivina - BELTA/. More than 100 small business projects have been included in the state economic programmes of Belarus. This was stated today to journalists by Alexander Likhachevsky, Director of the Entrepreneurship Department of the Ministry of Economy, as reported by a BELTA correspondent.
Belarusian business is actively participating in new state programmes being implemented during the current five-year period, noted Alexander Likhachevsky. Last year, 116 applications from small enterprises were submitted to state administration bodies, which act as customers and coordinators of the programmes. Of the applications reviewed, 108 were selected. Currently, these applications are included in the activities of state structures.
Alexander Likhachevsky reported that projects involving small businesses are being successfully implemented in the Gomel region, where a pharmaceutical production of veterinary drugs is being created. In the Mogilev region, a wind power plant is under construction with the participation of entrepreneurs. A plant for refining and deodorizing vegetable oils with the involvement of small businesses is being built in the Grodno region. -0-
