More than 130 hectares of new forests are planned to be planted in the spring on the lands of the state forestry institution "Lepel Leskhoz". Seedlings of ash, pine, spruce, and linden are being prepared for planting. They will be planted in a mixed manner. It has been proven that mixed forests are a natural barrier to the spread of tree diseases and pests. Most of all, 24 hectares are planned to be planted in the Slobodskoye forestry, 22 hectares in the Volosovichskoye forestry, and 21 hectares in the Stayskoye forestry. Foresters invite everyone willing, especially teenagers and schoolchildren, to participate in this socially useful activity.
