"More than 2 million Belarusians have received the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, with more than 1.57 million people having completed the full vaccination course," the statement reads.

According to the ministry, in the Brest region, more than 193.1 thousand people have completed the full vaccination course, in the Vitebsk region - more than 166.1 thousand, in the Gomel region - more than 279.5 thousand, in the Grodno region - more than 169.6 thousand, in the Minsk region - more than 183.9 thousand, in the Mogilev region - more than 178.6 thousand, and in Minsk - more than 351.4 thousand.

Also, more than 48.4 thousand employees of organisations and departments have completed the vaccination course, the Ministry of Health added.
