About 100 representatives of the republic's scientific organisations, as well as management bodies, took part in the fair of innovative developments in medicine and pharmacy, which was held at Vitebsk State Medical University. More than 30 innovative developments were presented at the event, including in the fields of surgery and transplantology. For example, the Republican Scientific and Practical Centre for Paediatric Surgery presented 3D printing technologies in cardiac surgery, and Brest Science and Technology Park presented the information system "Unified Register of Donors of the Brest Region," which allows tracking each donation from the moment of blood collection to transfusion or production of preparations.

During the fair, specialists from the SCST and affiliated organisations spoke about the opportunities for venture financing of innovative projects, patenting, and commercialisation of the results of scientific research and development. Following the event, it is expected that protocols and agreements will be signed for the implementation of developments in the real sector of the economy.
