"Twelve such job fairs have already been held in 2018, both at single enterprises and general city-wide ones. This time, we have invited more than 30 enterprises and organisations from the industry sector, including light industry, construction, and others, both state-owned and private," said Inessa Khatkevich.

The issue of employment assistance is relevant, and people are showing interest in job fairs. "At the event, employment service specialists will advise attendees on all available vacancies. They will also inform them about retraining opportunities at educational institutions if someone lacks the relevant qualifications," added the Head of Department.

As of early August, the situation had improved in 8 out of the 15 regions, and three regions had improved their situation across all indicators, while the labour market situation deteriorated in only two districts.
