Over 250 vehicles and about 500 people are engaged in treating republican roads with anti-icing materials and clearing snow. People and equipment are working around the clock in the normal mode, which has made it possible to avoid possible incidents related to the road situation. 64 units of equipment and about 450 people, including 350 street cleaners, are involved in clearing the streets of Vitebsk, where a ten-day precipitation norm fell overnight. At the same time, since the night of January 2, 1.5 thousand cubic meters of snow have been removed from the city to snow dumps, UP "Gordormost" noted. In the coming days, the main attention of road service workers will be paid to gritting roads, as, according to weather forecasters, precipitation in the form of wet snow and rain is expected in the region until the end of the week.
