Over 400 participants will gather in Vitebsk from November 14-17 for the XXVII International Mini-Football Tournament among power engineers, dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the liberation of Belarus, BELTA was informed by the press service of the region's trade unions.
30 teams from Russia, Ukraine, Moldova, Latvia, Belarus, and Hungary will take part in the competition. Over four days, the teams will compete to determine the best. The international tournament programme also includes competitions for veterans (aged 40 and over).
The annual tournament, throughout its long history, has become a hallmark of Belarusian power engineers. Previously, Novolukoml hosted the footballers, but the number of participants has significantly increased, so the competition will be held in Vitebsk. In addition to the participants, representatives of the trade union federations of the electric power industry of the participating countries will come to the city on the Dvina River.
The event is organised by the republican committee of the Belarusian Trade Union of Workers of the Power, Gas and Fuel Industry.
