4 June, Vitebsk /Olga Bogacheva - BELTA/. In the Vitebsk region, 41,040 passes have been issued to applicants for participation in the centralised testing, the Vitebsk Regional Testing Centre informed BELTA correspondent.
Among the region's graduates, the largest number of applicants registered for the centralised testing in the Russian language (11.2 thousand people). Almost 9.5 thousand young men and women decided to test their knowledge in mathematics. Physics is the third most popular subject, with 4.6 thousand applicants preparing for the test. The lowest number of registrations for the centralised testing is for World History (261), Geography (306), and Social Studies (942). Last year, the top and bottom most in-demand subjects were similar.
The centralised testing will be held according to the schedule from 13 to 27 June. In the Vitebsk region, the centralised testing will take place at eight educational institutions, with the largest number of participants at Polotsk State University, Vitebsk State Technological University, and Orsha State College of Mechanics and Economics.-0-
