On September 13, Minsk /BelTA correspondent/. Belarusian farms have harvested flax straw from more than 45% of the flax field area, BelTA was informed by the Ministry of Agriculture and Food. As of September 13, flax straw has been lifted from 26.5 thousand hectares, or 45.7% of the plan. It has been transported from an area of about 23 thousand hectares, which is 85.9% of the lifted area. In total, over 68 thousand tons of flax straw have been prepared with an average grade of 1.16. The largest volumes of this crop harvesting are in the farms of Grodno, Vitebsk, and also Brest regions - 13.9 thousand tons, 13.8 thousand tons, and 13.1 thousand tons, respectively. The turning of windrows has been carried out on 34.1 thousand hectares of sown areas (58.8% of the pulled area). Agrarians of the republic are completing the harvesting of rapeseed. As of September 13, 414.9 thousand hectares out of 419.1 thousand hectares of sown areas have been harvested (99% of the plan). The harvesting of this crop has been completed by farms in Brest and Gomel regions. In total, over 864 thousand tons of rapeseed oilseeds have been threshed with an average yield of 20.8 c/ha (16.5 c/ha last year). Almost 272 thousand tons (97.1% of the plan) have been sold against the state order. The harvesting of grain and leguminous crops is also nearing completion. As of September 13, 99.3% of the sown areas have been harvested in the republic. Harvesting is left on only 16.8 thousand hectares. All categories of farms in Belarus have harvested over 9.152 million tons of grain. -0-
