Representatives of various fields of activity have been awarded orders and medals for many years of fruitful work, exemplary performance of official duties, personal courage and bravery shown in the fight against crime and in the elimination of emergency situations, exceptional achievements in agriculture, merits in the development of public services, science, education, culture, and sports.

Among those awarded the Order "For Service to the Motherland" III Class are Vadim Denisenko, Commander of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces, and Vadim Shadura, Commander of the 103rd Separate Guards Airborne Brigade of the Armed Forces.

The Order of Honour was awarded to Leonid Tanin, Chief Advisor of CJSC "Holographic Industry"; the Order of the Fatherland II Class to Yuri Moroz, General Director of OJSC "Belovezhsky"; the Order "For Personal Courage" to Alexander Shimansky, Head of the Guard of Fire Rescue Unit No. 1 of the Krupki District Department for Emergency Situations.

Among those awarded the Medal of Francisc Skorina are Elena Atrashkevich, a teacher at the Minsk State College of Arts, and Boris Donin, a leading stage master at the Minsk Regional Drama Theatre.

In addition, the decree conferred honorary titles on representatives of various fields of activity. In particular, Stepan Bambiza, General Director of the Pripyatsky National Park, became an Honoured Forester of Belarus; Vasily Buloychik, Head of the Research Centre for Military Operations Modelling of the Military Academy, became an Honoured Scientist of Belarus. Anton Kushnir, an athlete-instructor of the national freestyle team of the Republican Centre for Olympic Training in Freestyle, was awarded the honorary title of "Honoured Master of Sports of the Republic of Belarus".
