On September 19, Vitebsk /Olga Bogacheva - BELTA/. More than 50% of the heat sources in the Vitebsk region have received readiness certificates for the heating season, Anatoly Sudak, head of the production and technical department of the housing and communal services department of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, told a BELTA correspondent.
"All work on preparing boiler houses and residential buildings for the autumn-winter period is being carried out on time, however, their overall pace is somewhat constrained by insufficient funding," noted Anatoly Sudak. He stressed that the full completion of the preparation of heat sources is planned within the established deadlines.
In addition, the conversion of two boilers with a capacity of 2 MW each at the Central Boiler House in Senno, two boilers with a capacity of 2 MW each operating on milled peat at the Central Boiler House in Dubrovno, and another one in Tolochin from gas to local types of fuel is being carried out according to plan. This work is planned to be completed by October 15, and in November, two boilers with a capacity of 3 MW each on wood chips at the heat source of the Liozno Central District Hospital and an additional boiler with a capacity of 3 MW in the village of Farinovo, Polotsk district, will be commissioned.
For the inter-seasonal period, 77% of firewood and 65% of wood fuel chips, or 230 thousand cubic meters and 28 thousand cubic meters respectively, have already been prepared in the region; there are 3.7 thousand tons of reserve fuel oil. As they are consumed during the heating season, the reserves of local fuel types will be replenished.
In total, 451 heat sources with a total capacity of 2170 Gcal/h will operate in the Vitebsk region during the current autumn-winter season. -0-
