The international specialised exhibition "Belagro-2016" opens today in Minsk, reports BELTA.
The international specialised exhibition "Belagro-2016" is held as part of the Belarusian Agro-Industrial Week from June 7 to 11. The exhibition exposition is located at the "Minsk-1" airport site, its area is 31,271 sq.m. 535 companies from 23 countries are participating in "Belagro-2016": Belarus, Austria, Bulgaria, Great Britain, Hungary, Germany, Denmark, Spain, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, China, the Netherlands, Poland, Russia, Slovakia, the USA, Turkey, Ukraine, France, the Czech Republic, Switzerland, Estonia.
23 official foreign delegations have confirmed their participation in the exhibition, including heads and representatives of the ministries of agriculture of Russia, Hungary, Georgia, Mongolia, Poland, Sri Lanka, Japan, and other countries.
Collective expositions will be presented by the Ministry of Agriculture and Food, the Ministry of Industry, the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, the State Committee on Science and Technology, the concern "Belneftekhim", the concern "Belleghprom", the concern "Belgospishcheprom", Belcoopsoyuz, the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the Ministry of Architecture and Construction, other ministries and departments, as well as the private sector and farms.
It is planned that participants of the III Forum of Regions of Belarus and Russia will visit the "Belagro-2016" exhibition.
Concurrently with "Belagro", the international specialised exhibitions "Belfarma", "Belprodukt", "Prodmash. Kholod. Upak" and "Food Industry" will be held.
In 2015, companies from 23 countries became participants of the "Belagro" exhibition. The exhibition was visited by 23 official delegations, including heads and representatives of the ministries of agriculture of Russia, Ukraine, Mongolia, Sri Lanka, Namibia, South Africa, Japan, the Netherlands, Ireland, Lithuania, Georgia, Kazakhstan and other countries. The number of visitors exceeded 50,000 people.
