Over 70 traffic violations committed by pedestrians and cyclists on the first day of the preventive campaign

From April 18 to 30, the traffic police are conducting a set of measures to prevent road traffic accidents involving pedestrians and cyclists.

On the very first day of the campaign in the Vitebsk region, 72 vulnerable road users, whose behaviour created a risk of road traffic accidents, were removed from the roadway.
It is worth noting that 5 pedestrians and 2 cyclists were intoxicated.
11 pedestrians violated traffic rules on rural roads.

The State Automobile Inspectorate urges you to report any pedestrian or cyclist on the roadway whose behaviour threatens road safety to the hotline 102.
