17 June, Vitebsk /Alena Tikhonova - BELTA/. Over Br1 trillion has been remitted to the budget in January-May of the current year by small business entities of the Vitebsk region, the press center of the Ministry of Taxes and Duties Inspectorate of the Republic of Belarus for the Vitebsk region informed a BELTA correspondent.
Over 5 months of 2013, more than Br1 trillion in payments was received from small business representatives, which constitutes 19% of the consolidated budget of the Vitebsk region. Receipts from legal entities amount to over Br956 billion (growth rate at current prices - 152.3%), and from individual entrepreneurs - Br127 billion (growth rate - 144.8%).
As of June 1, 2013, there are almost 35.5 thousand business entities in the Vitebsk region, including about 26.5 thousand individual entrepreneurs and almost 9 thousand legal entities. Compared to the same date last year, the number of small business entities has increased by 4%.
Over 90% of small business entities are micro-organizations. They remitted about Br221 billion to the budget over 5 months.-0-
