On September 21, Vitebsk / Olga Bogacheva - BELTA /. Most of the boarding schools in the Vitebsk region have received their readiness certificates for the winter season. This was announced today at a meeting by Inna Lakhvaenko, Head of the Department of Stationary Social Institutions of the Committee for Labour, Employment and Social Protection of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, as reported by a BELTA correspondent. Fourteen out of fifteen stationary social institutions in the region have received readiness certificates for the inter-seasonal period. The Dunilovichi boarding school, where new heating networks are currently being laid, plans to receive its certificate by October 1. A significant amount of work has also been done to transfer the boiler houses, water intake facilities, treatment facilities, and engineering communications of stationary social institutions to city and district communal ownership. As of September 20, seven boarding schools have transferred their boiler houses to the housing and communal services balance: Babinichi, Braslav, Voronovo, Dunilovichi, Maksimovsky, Ratsy, and Yakovlevichi. The boiler houses of the Glubokoe, Lunacharsky, Alexandrovsky, and Bogushevsky boarding schools are in the process of being transferred. This work is planned to be completed by October 1. The issue of the boiler houses of the Selyutsky and Polotsk boarding schools is being resolved. "The housing and communal services are ready to accept our boiler houses in their current condition, so the boarding schools must either transfer their boiler houses by the deadline or ensure 100% fuel supply for them," emphasized Alexander Khristoforov, Chairman of the Committee. He also drew the attention of the meeting participants to the need to pay the utmost attention to energy saving issues and the increased use of local fuels. -0-
