"We invite young people to participate in a new creative project across four categories: 'Vocal,' 'Artistic Word,' 'Contemporary Authors,' and 'TikTok Trends.' The project is primarily aimed at engaging the younger generation in studying the history of the Great Patriotic War through culture and art, as well as supporting young talented authors and performers. Each category requires participants to create video clips on military-patriotic and heroic themes: about the Great Patriotic War, peace, and our country," said Natalia Stolpinskaya. "For instance, in the 'Vocal' category, participants are invited to prepare video clips performing songs that fit the declared theme. This can be solo or group singing. In the 'Artistic Word' category, we expect video content featuring poems or excerpts from literary works. The 'Contemporary Authors' category should feature original works – musical compositions, poems, or prose."
The competition will run from May 5 to June 15 in two stages: a qualifying round and online voting. Applications from participants are accepted until June 8. The first qualifying round will take place from June 9 to 11. The organizing committee will select the top 10 entries in each category.
"From June 11 to 15, online voting will be held on the official central BRSM public pages, during which internet users will determine the winners. In the 'TikTok Trends' category, the winner will be announced in the first round. To participate in this category, applicants must submit a video clip published between May 5 and June 8 on TikTok (using the hashtags #мыпомним, #БеларусьПомнит, #Belarus), promoting the feat of the Belarusian people in the Great Patriotic War," added the BRSM Central Committee representative.
The creative competition "We Remember" will be an integral part of the multi-stage republican project of the BRSM "Flowers of the Great Victory". In this regard, an important condition is the presence of the project symbol among the competition participants – a red and green ribbon with apple blossoms. The winners of the competition will be invited to participate in the large-scale republican patriotic event on June 22.
