A sharp cold snap is coming to Belarus, replacing the heat. Heavy rain is expected across most of the country on Tuesday evening and Wednesday night.
In such weather, drivers should be especially careful on the roads: choose a safe speed, increase the distance and side interval, accelerate, brake and maneuver smoothly and deliberately. Predict changes in road conditions and be attentive to pedestrians!
Pedestrians should remember that visibility deteriorates in the rain, and braking distance increases. When crossing the road, make yourself as visible as possible to drivers: use reflective elements, wear bright outerwear, turn on your phone flashlight!
If your car is already fitted with summer tires, drive prudently. Near-zero temperatures and possible snowfall are forecast in some regions. If icy conditions form, use public transport!
