President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko congratulated employees and veterans of emergency response bodies and units on their professional holiday – Rescuer's Day. BELTA was informed about this by the press service of the Head of State.

"You are continuing the noble and heroic path of many generations of Belarusian rescuers, who have repeatedly demonstrated honour and dignity, courage and bravery, readiness for self-sacrifice, responding to the threats of natural elements and man-made disasters," the congratulation reads. "I thank you for your dedicated service to the Fatherland and your people, for the high professionalism that you demonstrate daily by coming to the aid of all those in trouble, for the courage and determination shown in extreme situations, for the lives saved."

The President wished employees and veterans of emergency response bodies and units new successes in fulfilling the incredibly complex and responsible mission aimed at preserving the peace, security, and well-being of their native Belarus. "Be stronger than the challenges thrown at you and take care of yourselves! Happiness, robust health, and well-being to you, your families, and loved ones," added the Belarusian leader.
