Reconstruction of the Belneftekhim petrol station is in full swing at the entrance to Lepel. Workers of the Promenerhobud enterprise are working even on Saturdays to complete the facility on time.
The petrol station is actually being built from scratch, with all previous structures demolished. New tanks for fuel have been installed to replace the old ones, each with a capacity of 50 cubic meters. Two 100-cubic-meter tanks are being installed underground from Chuykov Street. Their purpose is fire protection, and they will be filled with water. In case of an emergency, a fire engine can draw water from them for extinguishing.
A new building is being erected to replace the old one, using modern energy-saving technologies. A 25-ton crane easily lifts and precisely places heavy pallets of bricks, cement mortar bedding, and sturdy scaffolding. The equipment is imported, of Chinese manufacture. At the same time, the crane operator claims that in terms of comfort and production capacity, it is incomparable to previous models.
It is particularly interesting to observe the preparation and delivery of cement mortar and concrete. A concrete mixer truck of Italian manufacture is involved in the construction for this purpose. The machine loads cement and gravel itself, fills up with water, and mixes them. The proportion of components is strictly maintained by installed scales. Then it drives to the required location and unloads automatically.
By New Year, Lepel residents will be able to refuel their vehicles at the new terminals. By the way, the construction project includes the erection of a separate terminal for refueling fuel trucks. There, they will be able to fill up with fuel and transport it to enterprises without hindering others. After reconstruction, this petrol station will be number one in terms of equipment and popularity.
