Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko, making personnel decisions on December 2, instructed to determine the future of the Belarusian Oil Company, a BELTA correspondent reports.
While approving the candidacy of the General Director of Belarusian Oil Company CJSC, the Head of State emphasized that professionals in their field work in this structure – about 80 people. However, according to the President, they are currently not sufficiently utilized. "They, it seems to me, are underutilized in this company. It's a pity for these specialists. I know that there are very good specialists there," he said.
"We need to make a strong decision regarding the Belarusian Oil Company. It must be fully utilized," the Head of State set the task. "If not, then these specialists should work in their field throughout the country." Addressing Marat Maletsky, whose candidacy the President approved for the position of General Director of the Belarusian Oil Company, Alexander Lukashenko instructed: "You, together with the government and Dmitry Nikolaevich (Krutoy, Head of the Presidential Administration. - BELTA note), must clearly decide – whether this company will exist or not. And for it to exist, a certain scope of work is needed. I think you will decide."
