19 September, Minsk /Tatsiana Ivaniuk - BELTA/. Belarusian Railway has scheduled over 10 additional diesel trains for passengers travelling to the "Dazhynki-2012" festival-fair. This was reported to a BELTA correspondent by the press service of Belarusian Railway. "The increase in the number of trips is necessary to ensure that everyone wishing to participate in the festive events can travel," commented the specialists. In particular, on 21 September, 3 additional diesel trains have been scheduled for the Mogilev-Orsha-Pogodino section, and another 2 for the Krichev-Pogodino section. On 22 and 23 September, 2 additional diesel trains will run on these routes. In connection with the scheduling of additional suburban trains, the press service noted that the timetable for railway transport on the Mogilev-Orsha-Krichev sections will be partially changed. Overall, railway workers have organised a large campaign of construction and repair work on the facilities of the Belarusian railway in anticipation of "Dazhynki". In particular, administrative, service and technical buildings and structures have been renovated. Also, 11 residential buildings in Gorki and Gorki district have been repaired, and power transmission lines have been constructed for the power supply of individual residential sector along Mira and Zheleznodorozhnaya streets in Gorki. The press service reminded that the reconstruction of the building complex and the landscaping of the adjacent territory have been completed at Pogodino station. Here, as well as at the stopping points Nikolsk, Rekta and Klednevichi in Gorki district, passenger platforms have undergone major repairs. -0-
