The Vitebsk region team took first place in the open republican competitions among boys and girls "Belarusian Biathlon Federation Cup of the 2019-2020 season" with a significant lead, scoring 3558 points. The Mogilev region team took second place (2727 points), and the Minsk region team came in third (2685 points).
The competitions, including mass starts and relays, took place on the roller ski track in Gorodok, which serves as the base for the Vitebsk Regional Olympic Reserve Centre for Winter Sports.
The award ceremony for the teams was attended by the Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, Nikolai Sherstnev, the Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Council of Deputies, Vladimir Terentyev, the Deputy Chairman of the Belarusian Biathlon Federation, Igor Kuznetsov, and other distinguished guests.
