A "Library – a Safe Space: Together Against Drugs" discussion hour was held in the reading room of the central district library for students of the Educational Institution "Lepel Agrarian-Technical College", participants of the exemplary dance ensemble "Lileya" and the "School of Hosts" club.
The meeting was attended by Kristina Dorokhova, a member of the Youth Parliament under the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus.She told the young people about the different types of drugs, the penalties for drug trafficking, and showed a video interview with teenagers serving sentences in correctional facilities.
Anna Pavlyuchkova, Head of the Department of Services and Information of the central district library, conducted a quiz with the young people and noted that the library is a safe space where they can always come and get necessary and up-to-date information on a wide variety of relevant topics.
