– Our regional intellectual tournament has become a tradition; over the years of the competition, the number of participating teams has increased from 7 to 37! – noted Sviatoslav Mikhailov, Head of the Information and Analytical Department of the regional newspaper "Vitebskiye Vesti". – This shows the interest of young people. We always invite as many participants as possible, and there is a response, which is the main thing.

37 teams demonstrated their erudition, testing their knowledge in various fields. Both professional and amateur teams from Vitebsk, Polotsk, Novopolotsk, and Ushachi took part in the tournament.
The championship was held in several stages. The first stage, "Own Game," included two blocks of blitz questions. It required participants to use critical thinking skills, as they had only a few minutes to find the answers.

To successfully complete the second stage, "What? Where? When?", not only knowledge of history, geography, and medicine was important, but also wit and resourcefulness.
– Very interesting and diverse questions. We highly value our teamwork because we have been playing together for a while. For me, the tournament is a boost of intellectual vigor and the development of thinking – shared Vladislav Meleshko, a representative of the team from the Vitebsk branch of Belarusian Railways.
