"Firstly, we announced it. According to the course of the epidemic process, this wave was expected to arrive, and it coincides with our classic seasonal epidemiological situation, characteristic of Belarus at this time of year. Unfortunately, the temperature regime is also not conducive. Therefore, we are recording an increase in morbidity," said Dmitry Pinevich.
According to him, "the problem is that these high numbers are repeated day after day, including the hospitalization rate."
At the same time, Dmitry Pinevich assured that "there is no emergency whatsoever," however, the situation requires the utmost strain on the healthcare system's efforts, the resources that were planned and are being deployed according to the Ministry of Health's plans.
