On December 26, Minsk /BelTA correspondent/. Funds of the fourth tranche of the $440 million loan from the Anti-Crisis Fund (ACF) of EurAsEC will arrive in Belarus in the near future. This was announced by the Chairperson of the Board of the National Bank of Belarus, Nadezhda Ermakova, today during a direct phone line and an online conference on the BelTA website. "The funds of the fourth tranche of the EurAsEC ACF loan will arrive in Belarus in the near future. Currently, the Eurasian Development Bank, which manages the ACF funds, is carrying out technical work to ensure the transfer of the fourth tranche of the ACF financial loan to Belarus," Nadezhda Ermakova noted. "At the same time, for the republic, the issue of the specific date of receipt of the financial loan funds is not of principle importance," added the head of the National Bank. Currently, consultations with the ACF are also underway to clarify certain indicators of the stabilization program, Nadezhda Ermakova reported. "After clarifying a number of forecast parameters for monetary, credit, tax and budget policy, the EurAsEC Anti-Crisis Fund will assess the republic's fulfillment of its commitments, which will form the basis for a decision on the provision of the fifth and sixth tranches," she noted. The Council of the EurAsEC Anti-Crisis Fund approved the allocation of a $3 billion financial loan to Belarus on June 4, 2011. The loan is disbursed in six tranches during 2011-2013 in accordance with the implementation of the stages of the Stabilization Program of the Government of Belarus, aimed at stabilizing the balance of payments and increasing the competitiveness of the economy. The financial terms of the loan comply with the standard ACF terms for middle-income member states. The loan is provided for a period of 10 years, including a three-year grace period, and carries a floating interest rate reflecting Russia's funding cost on international markets. Three tranches of the loan out of six, totaling $1.68 billion, have already been received. The decision to provide Belarus with the fourth tranche of $440 million was made on December 7, 2012, during the 8th meeting of the EurAsEC Anti-Crisis Fund Council in Minsk. It is planned that the remaining two tranches, subject to a positive decision on them, will arrive in the republic in 2013.
