The following shall not be considered hunting:
the presence of persons in hunting grounds or other habitats of game animals with unloaded, covered hunting weapons, and (or) cartridges, and (or) traps, and (or) other snares when travelling to (from) a hunting site, provided that such persons possess a hunting permit and (or) a permit for the extraction of game animals and a hunting permit for it.
The following shall not be considered hunting:
the presence of persons in hunting grounds or other habitats of game animals with unloaded, covered hunting weapons, and (or) cartridges, and (or) traps, and (or) other snares when travelling to (from) a hunting site, provided that such persons possess a hunting permit and (or) a permit for the extraction of game animals and a hunting permit for it. In this case, the aforementioned hunting tools in the possession of these persons must comply with the hunting tools permitted for hunting under this hunting permit and (or) permit for the extraction of game animals and hunting permit for it, as per Appendix 2;
the presence of persons in hunting grounds with unloaded, covered hunting weapons, and (or) cartridges, and (or) traps, and (or) other snares when awaiting the time permitted for hunting, provided that a hunting permit and (or) a permit for the extraction of game animals and a hunting permit for it is possessed. In this case, the aforementioned hunting tools in the possession of these persons must comply with the hunting tools permitted for hunting under this hunting permit and (or) permit for the extraction of game animals and hunting permit for it, as per Appendix 2;
the presence of persons in hunting grounds with unloaded, covered hunting weapons, and (or) cartridges, and (or) traps, and (or) other snares after hunting game animals of regulated species with a designated hunting leader, until the expiry of the hunting permit for the extraction of game animals under which such hunting was carried out, as well as within six hours after the expiry of the said hunting permit for the purpose of processing hunting products and (or) rest;
in hunting grounds with unloaded, cased hunting weapons and (or) ammunition, after hunting for game animals of regulated species (except for beaver and otter) without appointing a hunting supervisor, until the expiry of the hunting permit for the extraction of game animals, in accordance with which this hunt was carried out, as well as within six hours after the expiry of the said hunting permit for the purpose of processing hunting products and (or) rest;
in hunting grounds with unloaded, cased hunting weapons, and (or) ammunition, and (or) traps, and (or) other snares, after hunting for beaver and (or) otter without appointing a hunting supervisor, within six hours after the closure of the last permit for the extraction of game animals, for the purpose of processing hunting products and (or) rest;
on public roads passing through hunting grounds or other habitats of game animals, with unloaded, cased hunting weapons, and (or) ammunition, and (or) traps, and (or) other snares, for the purpose of their movement, transportation (including travel to and from the hunting site);
on roads passing through hunting grounds or other habitats of game animals, as determined by decisions of the hunting grounds user, and in the hunting grounds reserve fund and prohibited hunting zones – by decisions of local executive and administrative bodies, with unloaded, cased hunting weapons, and (or) ammunition, and (or) traps, and (or) other snares, for the purpose of travelling to and from temporary accommodation for hunters (hunting lodges, agro-tourism estates, etc.) or their gathering places (in hunting grounds immediately before the hunt). The decisions made shall be published in the mass media within five days and sent to the territorial bodies of the State Inspectorate for the Protection of Fauna and Flora under the President of the Republic of Belarus;
on roads passing through hunting grounds or other habitats of game animals, as defined by the decisions of the hunting grounds user, and in the reserve fund and zones prohibited for hunting – by decisions of local executive and administrative bodies, agreed with the territorial bodies of the State Inspectorate for the Protection of Fauna and Flora under the President of the Republic of Belarus, with hunting weapons and/or cartridges unloaded, cased, for the purpose of proceeding to specially designated areas for sighting-in hunting weapons, allocated in accordance with paragraph 155 of these Rules, and back. Information about such roads is posted in the information system on the Internet;
in hunting grounds or other habitats of game animals with a dog and/or a bird of prey not working on wild animals;
in hunting grounds or other habitats of game animals with a dog and/or a bird of prey participating in trials, competitions, during training in accordance with paragraphs 135 and/or 138 of these Rules, as well as preparing them for these events;
in hunting grounds or other habitats of game animals with service, combat or sporting weapons in connection with the performance of their official duties by the specified persons or participation in sporting events;
in hunting grounds with cartridges, except for cases where the weapon is loaded with these cartridges.
The capture of wild animals and/or birds using hunting tools and methods based on permits issued by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection, as well as enclosure hunting, is not considered hunting.
