shot – a projectile element of a smoothbore firearm cartridge in the form of metal balls or elements of another shape with a diameter (size) of up to 5 millimetres inclusive;
buckshot – a projectile element of a smoothbore firearm cartridge in the form of metal balls or elements of another shape with a diameter (size) of more than 5 millimetres and not exceeding 10.3 millimetres;
bullet – a projectile element of a rifled firearm cartridge, and for smoothbore firearms – a projectile element of a cartridge in the form of a metal ball (balls) or an element (elements) of another shape with a diameter (size) of more than 10.3 millimetres;
We also remind you that carrying cartridges loaded with bullets and buckshot in hunting grounds during hunting for non-regulated species, when carrying such cartridges is prohibited, except for cases where the weapon is loaded with these cartridges, entails a fine of 3 to 15 basic units. If the weapon is loaded with the above-mentioned cartridges, then liability arises under Part 1 of Article 16.27 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Republic of Belarus and entails a fine of 10 to 30 basic units with the deprivation of special rights and hunting weapons.
