In the private sector, the risk of fires is higher compared to apartment buildings. Violations of safety rules when firing a bathhouse or stove, and malfunctions of gas and electrical equipment can destroy a dwelling in minutes and lead to significant financial losses.

During the comprehensive inspection of households, special attention was paid to the condition of stove heating, gas and electrical equipment, and the operability of autonomous fire alarms. All residents were explained the consequences of non-compliance with fire safety rules in residential buildings and structures, and tragic cases were cited. In houses where there was no autonomous fire alarm, it was recommended to acquire this device as soon as possible. Homeowners whose houses had violations were issued recommendations for their elimination.

The shortcomings, and there were few of them, identified during the raid are fixable and will be eliminated by the homeowners in the shortest possible time. Those who can be assisted will receive help from the territorial center for social services to the population. It is important that careless owners develop not a sense of security, but full responsibility for their home, and along with it, for their lives.

Rescuers strongly urge the residents of the city and district to take the necessary measures to bring their households into a fire-safe condition. Be careful when handling fire, do not smoke in residential areas, observe safety rules when operating heating appliances and electrical equipment, and do not leave children unattended.
