A decree on stimulating citizen employment will soon be presented to the Head of State. This was stated by the Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus, Natalya Kochanova, on the programme "Main Air" on the Belarus 1 TV channel, as reported by BELTA.
"The document is practically in the final stage. It is being refined and will be presented to the Head of State in the near future," said the Deputy Prime Minister.
She noted that great attention is paid to social policy in Belarus. At the same time, many underestimate all that the state does. "I believe that every citizen of our country should participate in covering the costs that the state directs to the social sphere," the Deputy Prime Minister expressed her point of view.
Answering the correspondent's questions, Natalya Kochanova, in particular, noted that the issue of increasing the retirement age is not currently being considered in Belarus. "You know the approaches of our Head of State, Alexander Lukashenko, who unequivocally stated that this issue will not be reviewed at the present time," said the Deputy Prime Minister, adding that as long as the situation is not critical, it is under control. Therefore, there is no need to review the retirement age yet.
