On September 15, Vitebsk / Sergey Kotovets - BELTA /. Industrialists and entrepreneurs of Vitebsk plan to discuss issues of expanding cooperation ties and interaction in the field of vocational and technical education with partners from Kaluga during the visit of the Vitebsk region delegation to the Russian region on September 15-16. This was reported to a BELTA correspondent by the executive directorate of the regional employers' union. The business trip is organized within the framework of the cooperation agreement between the regional employers' union and the Kaluga association of industrialists and entrepreneurs, as well as the Scientific and Industrial Union of the Smolensk region. The visit program includes working meetings with the leadership of the Kaluga region and the regional center, regional business associations and the Regional Development Agency. Business communication of businessmen will be devoted to discussing opportunities for expanding production cooperation, scientific and technical cooperation, and trade and economic relations. The focus of the participants of the meetings will be on the issues of implementing innovative developments and technologies, participating in the implementation of joint projects and programs, exchanging experience, and improving the skills of personnel. The business part of the program will be continued by negotiations with representatives of the business community of the Kaluga region. In addition, the Vitebsk business delegation will get acquainted with the specifics of training specialists for enterprises of the automotive industry complex during a visit to the Kaluga College of Information Technology and Management. Vitebsk managers will also visit the automotive production at Volkswagen Group Rus LLC. The delegation of the region includes heads of almost 20 enterprises and scientific organizations. The visit was organized by the Vitebsk Regional Employers' Union with the assistance of the regional executive committee. The Vitebsk Regional Employers' Union is the largest non-profit association of employers in the Dvina region, which includes more than 270 enterprises and organizations. The association was founded in 1999, and its branches have been established in 6 districts of the region.
