A delegation from Lepel district participated in the II Forum of Patriotic Forces "Time Chose Us. Time for New Victories".

- The Day of National Unity is not just a date on the calendar. It is a day when we remember how the unity of the people helped to overcome historical difficulties and gain the opportunity to build their future, emphasized the Chairman of the Regional Executive Committee, Alexander Subbotin.

– Looking at the symbol of Belarusian statehood – the coat of arms – we see the contours of the country. But how much time, effort, and lives were invested by our predecessors to draw these lines, and by us to defend them... The events of 1939 marked the beginning of a new chapter for millions of Belarusians, saving them from the tragic fate prepared by Polish invaders, - noted the head of the region.
