As part of the preventive campaign "Safety Day. Attention Everyone!", employees of the Lepel District Department for Emergency Situations conducted preventive measures in the district's educational institutions. During the campaign, teachers, together with rescuers, held practical sessions to practice evacuation plans from educational institutions in case of fire or emergency. During the safety lessons, schoolchildren learned from rescuers about the importance of preparing people in advance for actions in case of natural and man-made emergencies, and about the consequences of fires and the loss of life. Some children pleasantly surprised with their answers, which showed that the basics of life safety are not an empty phrase for them. Where to call in case of fire, what information to provide, and how to behave during a fire – all this was explained by the schoolchildren to the representatives of the Ministry of Emergency Situations. To reinforce the acquired information, schoolchildren were shown educational films "School of Safety" and "Attention Everyone!".
