14 September, Verkhnedvinsk /Diana Kurilo - BELTA/. The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Belarus, Valery Vakulchik, does not rule out that another professional holiday may appear in Belarus - Investigator's Day. He announced this to journalists, answering a question from a BELTA correspondent. According to him, employees and veterans of the investigative units of law enforcement agencies have repeatedly expressed the opinion about the need to celebrate the professional holiday of investigators. "It is possible that this holiday will appear someday. But my firm conviction is that this holiday must be earned. If our work is effective, there will be grounds for a holiday," he said. The Decree on the Establishment of the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Belarus was signed on 12 September 2011, which marked the beginning of a fundamental reform of the Belarusian law enforcement system.-0-
