On October 20, Minsk /BELTA correspondent/. Denomination will not be carried out in Belarus this year, stated Chairperson of the National Bank's Board, Nadezhda Ermakova, to journalists today, as reported by a BELTA correspondent. "The issue of denomination is not on the agenda for this year, and next year will show what figures our accounts will be in, i.e., how many zeros there will be," said the head of the National Bank. According to her, "this issue is not currently on the agenda." Answering journalists' questions about what measures the National Bank will take in the future to combat inflation, Nadezhda Ermakova emphasized that a comprehensive set of measures is envisaged. According to her, achieving a single exchange rate for the Belarusian ruble is not sufficient. The Government and the National Bank have developed an action plan to stabilize the currency market. "Together with the government, a program has been developed, and if we implement it fully, we will be able to combat inflation," noted Nadezhda Ermakova. The head of the National Bank added that every citizen can contribute to solving this problem by working conscientiously and responsibly in their place, thereby benefiting the country's economy. "Inflation depends on how effectively the economy works," observed Nadezhda Ermakova. -0-
