Deputy Viktor Azaronok described the work carried out in 2025 within the scope of his powers.

In order to improve the application of draft laws adopted by the House of Representatives during work in the electoral district, I regularly organised their discussion with stakeholders in Beshenkovichi, Lepel and Chashniki districts, took note of the received proposals and recommendations for improving legislative activities, and communicated them to the leadership of the House of Representatives.

During periods of work in the district, I constantly held meetings with work collectives and the public, during which I informed voters about the work of the parliamentary corps on legislative acts, familiarised them with already adopted draft laws, and communicated constructive remarks and proposals to the relevant commissions.

Work in the District

Throughout the entire period of work, I paid special attention to working directly with voters: over the past year, I held more than 130 meetings with the public and made speeches in work collectives of the electoral district, participated in 12 executive committee meetings (including 1 – regional executive committee meeting, 7 – district executive committee meetings, 4 – village executive committee meetings), attended 12 sessions of Councils of Deputies (2 – regional, 2 – district, 3 – village), held 14 receptions of citizens (including 9 – at village executive committees), and conducted 14 direct telephone lines.

I held receptions of citizens primarily in rural areas, as this provides the maximum number of voters with the opportunity to attend a reception. This practice will be continued.

During the receptions of citizens, direct telephone lines, as well as as a result of communication with voters during the reporting period, I received 98 appeals from citizens (including 8 collective appeals, 1 from a legal entity).

The main issues raised by voters are housing and communal services, land management and land use, transport, trade, and social protection of the population.

All received appeals have been reviewed by me in accordance with the procedure established by current legislation. Based on the results of the review, explanations were given for 16 appeals during the reception, and specific instructions were given to responsible persons for 82 appeals. In total, 93 issues raised have been resolved to date. 5 appeals are under control.

Thus, as a result of joint work with local executive authorities, the road surface has been restored in several rural settlements of the district; the production of bread at the Novolukoml bread factory has been resumed, a retail outlet (grocery store) has been preserved, and issues related to the provision of rental housing in Lepel and Chashniki districts, among others, have been resolved.

Throughout the entire period of work in the district, I participated in the public life of Beshenkovichi, Lepel, and Chashniki districts: in celebrations dedicated to state holidays and significant events of the district, republican and regional campaigns of various themes ("Give the Forest New Life!", "Let's Pack a Schoolbag for a First-Grader", "Our Children", "From the Bottom of Our Hearts", "Care", "Trade Unions – to Children", etc.).

Special attention was paid to working with youth: I regularly organised presentations for pupils and students, and held dialogue platforms with working and student youth (among the most significant were the dialogue platform with the participation of journalist and TV presenter of STV channel Grigory Azarenok "Youth – a Mark of Quality for the Country", a series of training seminars organised and conducted jointly with the chairman of the council of the Belarusian Association of Veterans of Special Purpose Units of the Internal Affairs Troops "Honor", reserve Colonel Dmitry Pavlichenko, in all districts of the region), and other events. Work has been established with Anastasia Boyarchuk, a member of the third convocation Youth Council under the House of Representatives, who regularly participates in events held in the district.

In order to maintain an active dialogue between the authorities and the population, I regularly (monthly during my work in the district) held meetings with the leadership and activists of Beshenkovichi, Lepel, and Chashniki districts, specialists from departments for ideological work and youth affairs, representatives of public associations and political parties operating in the district.

Throughout the year, 4 excursions to the House of Government and the Presidential Library were organised and conducted for members of work collectives of enterprises and organisations of the district, and for pupils and students.

All directions of my deputy activities are regularly covered on my personal website https://azarenok.house.gov.by/ru/ and Telegram channel https://t.me/VVAzarenok, as well as in the media: district newspapers "Chyrvonyi Pramiоn", "Lepelsky Krai", "Zarya", in official chats and channels of Lepel ("Lepelsky Krai" and "Lepel District. Official"), Beshenkovichi ("Beshenkovichi. News. Zarya"), Chashniki ("Chashniki Now") districts of Viber and Telegram messengers, and are published in regional (newspaper "Vitebskiye Vesti") and republican (newspapers "SB.Belarus Segodnya", "Zvyazda", internet platforms belta.by and news.by, TV channel "RTR-Belarus") media outlets.

In total, over 150 publications were placed in the media during the reporting period (republican level – 26, regional level – 54).

Implementation of the Election Programme

Within the framework of implementing the election programme, planned measures aimed at improving the quality of life of voters are purposefully and consistently implemented in conjunction with local authorities.

Thus, during the reporting period, significant results were achieved in key areas of the programme:

The major renovation of the State Educational Institution "Lepel District Centre for Children and Youth" is nearing completion;

a major renovation of the State Educational Institution "Chashniki Children's Art School" has been carried out;

work on the creation of a permanent exhibition of the State Cultural Institution "Lepel District Museum of Local Lore" has been completed;

work on the construction of a new kindergarten in Lepel is nearing completion;

Despite the work done, there are still many steps and measures planned that will contribute to the achievement of the set goals.

International Activities

As part of my deputy activities, I participate in international events aimed at strengthening the inter-parliamentary ties of our country.

In my capacity as a Member of Parliament, I continue to work on maintaining and developing previously established international relations with the aim of attracting funds from international charitable organizations to meet the social needs of the district's residents and to strengthen cultural and economic ties. Within the framework of cooperation with the International Charitable Public Association "EcoStroitel" and the public organization "Houses Instead of Chernobyl," landscaping and insulation works on three family-type children's homes in Lepel were completed in the summer of 2025.

I wish to express my gratitude to my constituents for the trust placed in me, for their active civic stance, and for their constructive proposals regarding the development of the region and the country as a whole, as well as for the improvement of current legislation.

I also thank my colleagues, the management and specialists of the district executive committees, and the management and workforces of enterprises and organizations for their active and effective joint work.

My future activities as a Member of Parliament will be focused on the socio-economic development of the Lepel Electoral District No. 23 and the Republic of Belarus as a whole, as well as the further fulfillment of my election pledges.
