Deputies of Lepel District today summed up the results of the outgoing year and outlined plans for 2025 - the ninth session of the Lepel District Council of Deputies of the twenty-ninth convocation was held at the district executive committee.

The main issue – "On the fulfilment of the main parameters of the socio-economic development forecast for the district in 2024 and tasks for 2025" – was presented by the Chairman of the District Executive Committee, Mikhail Kiselevich.

As the head of the district noted, in the outgoing year, the work of the district executive committee in interaction with the deputy corps and organizations of the district was aimed at fulfilling the key tasks set by the Head of State.

- 2024 was rich in socio-political, economic, and cultural events. The district motor rally "Together for a Prosperous Belarus," dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Institute of the Presidency of the Republic of Belarus, the district patriotic action "For the Batka!", events dedicated to the 79th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War and the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Belarus from the Nazi invaders, the 585th anniversary of the city of Lepel, and many others were held at a high organizational level, - Mikhail Leonidovich began his speech with this.

The head of the district elaborated on the fulfilment of indicators in the real sector of the economy, industry, social sphere, and other areas.

The session also considered the issue of the district budget for 2025. Viktor Azaryonok, a deputy of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus, also spoke at the meeting, thanking the leaders of the Lepel region for their cooperation.

Summing up the outgoing year, the head of the district, Mikhail Kiselevich, as well as the leader of the deputy corps, Igor Urban, noted the high quality of work of the people of Lepel, thanked them for their labour, and congratulated them on the upcoming New Year.
