Additional resources will mainly go to support the agro-industrial complex and healthcare needs, and will also help solve a number of pressing issues in other sectors and spheres of life, stated the head of the regional deputy corps, Vladimir Terentyev. The main source of expanding the capabilities of the regional treasury was the effective work of the real sector of the economy. Due to this, as reported by the head of the main financial department of the regional executive committee, Gennady Grebnev, an over-fulfillment of the budget's own revenue plan by more than 36.5 million rubles is expected. In addition, the approved increase includes transfers from the national budget for 8.3 million rubles.
It was decided to spend them as follows. AIC organizations will receive over 30 million rubles in subsidies for the purchase of fuel and lubricants for the timely completion of field work this year, as well as for settlements of lease payments for the renewal of the agricultural machinery fleet.
An additional 4 million rubles will be allocated to healthcare, mainly for the purchase of medicines and medical supplies. As Gennady Grebnev noted, funds from the local fee for vehicles crossing the state border will be directed to the needs of the sector this year. In
Vitebsk region, such a fee has been introduced from August 1 for the period until January 1, 2023, and is paid into the regional budget revenue. As of early October, about 63 thousand rubles have already been collected, and by the end of the year, receipts are projected at over 100 thousand rubles. The fee is charged when leaving the country at border crossing points with Latvia ("Grigorovshchina", "Gavilino", "Urbany", "Plyusy") and Lithuania ("Vidy", "Moldyevichi", "Lyntupy") in Verkhnedvinsk, Braslav and Postavy districts.
