Father Frosts – rescuers will parachute from the roof of the Vitebsk Regional Children's Clinical Hospital today to congratulate sick children on the upcoming holidays, the regional department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations informed BELTA.
Rescuers from the "Vityaz" fire and rescue squad will act as winter wizards. Using climbing gear, they will descend from the roof of the healthcare facility and greet the boys and girls through the ward windows.
The main Father Frost, along with Snegurochka (Snow Maiden), will congratulate the young patients inside the building. They will tour the hospital departments to personally greet them and distribute sweets, educational books, and safety colouring pages. A pre-New Year interactive event with educational activities will be organised in the assembly hall of the children's hospital.
During the nationwide campaign "Safe New Year" in December, Ministry of Emergency Situations employees are conducting preventive measures aimed at preventing accidents in the pre-New Year period.-0-
