By Resolution of the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of January 23, 2019 No. 4, the BLM from February 1, 2019, calculated per month, has been set at Br216.9. The BLM has increased by 1.3% compared to the standard effective from November 1, 2018, to January 31, 2019. Accordingly, social payments, including state benefits for families raising children, will also increase.

Thus, the one-time benefit for the birth of the first child is now Br2169; for the birth of the second and subsequent children - Br3036.6. The one-time benefit for women who registered with healthcare organisations before the 12th week of pregnancy will be paid from November at the rate of Br216.9, and the benefit for families with children aged 3 to 18 during the period of raising a child under three years of age (monthly) - at the rate of Br108.45.

Monthly benefits for families with children over 3 years old from certain categories of families defined by law: for a child with a disability - Br151.83, for other children in the family - Br108.45. The monthly benefit for caring for a child with a disability under 18 years of age is Br216.9 (for I and II degrees of health loss and for III and IV degrees of health loss until the child reaches the age of 3) and Br260.28 (for III and IV degrees of health loss after the child reaches the age of 3); the monthly benefit for a child under 18 years of age infected with HIV is Br151.83.

In addition, from February 1, state benefits for families raising children under 3 years of age (monthly) will also increase due to the rise in the average monthly salary of employees in the republic for the preceding quarter (by 10.2%). For the first child, the benefit will increase to Br362.46, for the second and subsequent children - to Br414.24, for a child with a disability - to Br466.02.
