The "Zhemchuzhina" Children's Rehabilitation and Health Improvement Centre actively participates in events dedicated to the Day of Unity of the Peoples of Belarus and Russia.
As part of the celebration, interactive zones are organised here, where children from both countries become acquainted with cultural traditions, folk dances, cuisine, and songs, participate in quests and discussion platforms, discussing the future of the Union State.
The Centre hosts children from all regions of Belarus and Russia, providing them with an opportunity not only to relax but also to strengthen friendly ties. Since 2004, "Zhemchuzhina" has become an active participant in the programme for organising sanatorium and resort treatment for children of the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation residing in territories affected by the aftermath of the Chernobyl disaster, within the framework of which over 5,000 children have recovered over these years.
