President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko has signed a decree extending the validity of Decree No. 126 "On Opening Special Accounts" until December 31, 2027. The document also updates the list of construction organizations entitled to open such accounts. BELTA was informed about this by the press service of the Belarusian leader.
According to Decree No. 126, certain construction organizations in a difficult financial situation are permitted to open special accounts for the accumulation of targeted and current advances. To ensure the effective use of these advances, restrictions have been imposed on the recovery of funds held in these accounts.
The decree is aimed at ensuring the uninterrupted operation of construction organizations, including on strategically important and significant facilities, the timely payment of wages by them, and the fulfillment of obligations to the budget and the social protection fund of the population.
