The vigour of the young generation and the experience of the older one are the key to the successful development of both medicine and the country as a whole, emphasised the Chairman of the Regional Council of Deputies, Dmitry Demidov, during a meeting with students and the teaching staff of VGMU.
During the dialogue platform, which was held as part of the "Presidential Republic" project, Dmitry Demidov recalled the successes our country has achieved over the years of independence in building a socially oriented, legal, democratic state, where the main value is the working person and their well-being.
– This includes the healthcare sector, where tremendous work has been done in recent decades. The level of training of our medical professionals and the equipment of healthcare facilities are among the highest in the world. This is evidenced by the assessments of the World Health Organization and international rankings. All this indicates that the state's policy is people-oriented, for whom the state strives to create comfortable conditions for large families to emerge and for the institution of motherhood and childhood to develop, – noted Dmitry Demidov.
The head of the deputy corps stressed the importance of informing about the work being done in the country to create a socially oriented state, and the necessity of maintaining this course for the sake of preserving peace, well-being, and unity.
– Today, it is necessary to talk to young people so that they know and appreciate the rich experience accumulated by previous generations. So that in their work and development, they are guided by those life guidelines and moral values that have always been inherent to Belarusians, – added Dmitry Demidov.
The Dean of the Pediatric Faculty of VGMU, Tatyana Ryabova, noted that healthcare is improving every year.
– A significant amount of funds is allocated to the development of the medical field. The dynamics are positive, and based on my experience of interacting with other countries, many envy our healthcare system and its capabilities, both in terms of student training and in providing medical care to patients from birth, – noted Tatyana Ryabova.
