The remote vocal competition "On the Same Wavelength" will be held for the first time in the Vitebsk region, as reported by the Vitebsk Regional Methodical Centre of Folk Art (VOMCNT).

Creative groups and individual performers aged 7 and above are invited to participate. Contestants will perform in six categories: 7-9 years old (inclusive); 10-13 years old; 14-18 years old; 19-31 years old; 32 years old and above (up to 51 years old inclusive); mixed group. Participants must present one creative piece, no longer than 4 minutes, to a professional jury, performed with a minus-one backing track, a cappella, or with instrumental accompaniment. Contestants choose the piece to perform. The main requirement is that it fully reveals their creative abilities.

Applications and links to videos (or video recordings) of performances can be sent until June 1 to the organisers' email address. The competition results will be announced within a month. Winners will be awarded with diplomas and prizes.

"The decision to hold a remote competition was driven by the epidemiological situation. Whether it will be continued in the future will be decided based on the results of the current competition. However, the convenient format of participation and the most flexible conditions for contestants in terms of age and choice of composition make it quite attractive," noted the VOMCNT.
