From July 27 to August 1, raids and large-scale road enforcement operations are planned across the country. The State Automobile Inspectorate will carry out measures aimed at reducing injuries during passenger transportation, primarily of children, and also taking into account the predicted unstable weather conditions in most regions.
The priority is to identify and suppress violations that are the main causes of serious road traffic accidents involving private and public transport: non-compliance with speed limits, overtaking rules, and pedestrian crossing regulations.
The focus will be on taxi service drivers and car-sharing users. Traffic Police inspectors will employ forms of covert and mixed control, as well as photo and video recording devices for violations.
Additionally, traffic police patrols will be monitoring areas near public recreation spots, with special attention paid to retail outlets, particularly those operating 24/7.
Dear drivers! Please be extremely attentive on the road, avoid sudden, ill-considered manoeuvres, do not exceed the speed limit, and do not drive while tired or intoxicated. Remember that all occupants of the vehicle must wear seat belts, and children must be transported in special restraint systems.
