The cultural programme promises to be a true celebration of art and will introduce the residents of the "Land of Fire" more closely to Belarusian culture.
The Days will open with a gala concert of Belarusian art masters at the Azerbaijan State Philharmonic Hall (Baku). The evening programme will feature performances by the best Belarusian ensembles and performers. Among them are the Belarusian State Ensemble of Folk Music "Svyata", opera singers Kristentiya Stasenko and Mikhail Puzanov, international competition laureate, bayan player Vladislav Pligovka, pop singer Gyunesh, and participant of the children's music competition "Vitebsk" at the XXII International Festival of Arts "Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk", Polina Burlo. Cultural figures will also perform on 6 June in the settlement of Mardakan.
Another bright page of Belarus's rich culture will be revealed to the Azerbaijani audience through a photo exhibition by the Belarusian Telegraph Agency, dedicated to the life and nature of our country, which will open on 5 June at the "1969" Gallery in Baku.
Days of Cinema of the Republic of Belarus will also be held in Azerbaijan. Thus, on 5 June, Belarusian animated films and the feature film "The Brest Fortress" will be shown at the Nizami Cinema Centre, and on 6 June, the 2012 premiere film "Steal Belmondo" will be screened.
Days of Belarusian Culture in Azerbaijan will be held from 4 to 7 June. The Deputy Minister of Culture of Belarus, Vasily Chernik, will take part in the official opening.
