From August 28 to 31, the northern region of Belarus will present its economic, scientific, technical, tourism, and cultural potential.
The forum program includes dozens of events in various formats (scientific and practical sessions, round tables, dialogue platforms and master classes, business meetings) in the areas of culture, sports and tourism, education, healthcare, social protection, and youth policy.
Leading enterprises and organizations of the Vitebsk region are presenting their own developments and samples of import-substituting products in the Pskov region. Among them are Naftan, PSV (Polotsk-Steklovolokno), Orsha Linen Mill, Vitebskoblgaz, Belwest, Vitebskdrev, Vitebskiye Kovry, Vityaz, FEZ Vitebsk. Investment proposals have also been prepared for Russian partners. For example, negotiations on developing cooperation and finding new areas of interaction between business circles are planned in the pavilions. A number of agreements and contracts are intended to be signed in Pskov. In particular, an agreement on the supply of footwear products from Belwest LLC to Russia worth more than 50 million rubles with Belwest Retail Moscow CJSC.
As part of the Days of the Vitebsk Region in Pskov, an exhibition of Belarusian large-sized machinery from MTZ, MAZ, Amkodor, PozhSnab, and Vitstroytehmash will also be held. At the exhibition fair, it will be possible to taste products from Vitebsk manufacturers.
Also, the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee and the government of the Pskov region will sign a protocol to the agreement on cooperation in the economic, scientific, technical, cultural, and humanitarian fields dated September 17, 2015, approving the plan of measures for 2024-2026, and the plan itself.
The grand opening of the Days of the Vitebsk Region is scheduled for August 29.
