There is a month until the start of the academic year, however, the education system and parents are preparing for September 1st in advance.

Oksana Lyasun, Deputy Head of the Education Department of the Lepel District Executive Committee:

- All necessary conditions for high-quality and comfortable education of children have been created in the Lepel district. This year, 28 educational institutions are ready to operate, including 11 schools, a gymnasium, 13 preschool institutions, as well as a center for children and youth, a socio-pedagogical center, and a center for correctional and developmental education and rehabilitation. In addition, 3 family-type homes operate in the district, where children are raised and receive the warmth of a home hearth. We have carried out the necessary preparatory work so that the educational process begins in a comfortable and safe environment. More than 900 children attend preschool institutions in the district, and about 3200 schoolchildren will take their seats at desks on September 1.
