This was stated today by Leonid Shenets, Director of the Department for Energy Efficiency of the State Committee for Standardization of Belarus, at the international exhibition-conference "Energy-Saving Technologies, Equipment and Materials" in Vitebsk, BELTA correspondent reports. The task is very challenging, emphasized Leonid Shenets. To accomplish it, in particular, it is necessary to master the production of brown coal, the explored reserves of which are estimated at 250 million tons with a calorific value of not less than 3.8-4 thousand kcal.
